Considered to be one of the hidden gems in the Midlands, Penn Golf Club is an impressive heathland course that is perfectly located where "City meets countryside". Bordered by the industrialised Black Country and the rural countryside of South Staffordshire and situated within Penn Common, the land was acquired from the Duke of Sutherland in 1908 and has developed into one of the most impressive courses in the area.
With picturesque surroundings and views over the Clee Hills, this is an excellent, traditionally styled Club that you will be pleased you have found. Having matured over a century, the challenging heathland course at Penn is a high quality course with an excellent reputation.
With excellent greens all year round and well manicured fairways, the layout here utilises the natural grasses and gorse to great effect. Tempting to the ambitious and punishing to the wayward, this is a course that will delight those with an eye for an aesthetically pleasing round of golf.
At Penn Golf Club we take our reviews very seriously, feedback from our members and visitors is our most valuable tool in maintaining our high standards and helps us continually improve the experience we offer
